About the venue

This popular middle Avon fishery is situated between the Somerley Estate water and the Severals at Ringwood.

The venue offers a bit of everything – deep holes, fast shallow runs, bridge pools and side streams. There are good barbel, chub, pike, grayling, roach, dace, perch etc, which hold up in different areas at different times of the year and prevailing river conditions. All methods work in most swims, but have a wander, because you never know what you may find in the next swim.

Where the main river splits and where side streams enter the river are always worth concentrating on. These areas provide good sport in the Winter to trotting tactics.

24hr coarse fishing is available to Club members.

Day tickets are available from local tackle shops for this venue priced at £10 for adults and £5 for juniors/concessionary.
