As you are aware, all our waters are currently closed in line with government guidance and Angling Trust policy. All guest, night and trout tickets are now unavailable to book online. Tackle shops issuing tickets on our behalf are currently closed.
This situation will remain for a minimum of 3 weeks but may be extended.
In response to this initial 3 week closure we have decided that all existing members will get a full month added to their membership period. All our memberships run for 12 consecutive months so your renewal date will simply roll over to the end of the following month. If the situation continues beyond this timeframe we will revisit the position depending on when the government restrictions are lifted.
Members renewing their membership and new members who join during this period will have their membership extended equally.
We hope all our members acknowledge the efforts we are making to ensure nobody ‘loses out’ whilst being unable to fish. However, please appreciate that our overheads are fixed and, as a community sports club run as a Trust, we are ineligible for any government grants, rent relief or tax exemptions that may otherwise have lessened the financial impact of this loss of revenue. We urge you all to continue to support the club through these unprecedented times.
Finally, please stay safe and follow the Government directives during this national emergency. We want to see you all back on the banks as soon as possible.
