Our works at Wedgehill are nearing completion. With a new car park, track and wildlife fencing in place access and protection from predation is now all top class.
Attention is shifting towards tidying up the complex and reviewing the stocking levels.
The bottom pool is a carp-free water and has traditionally provided good sport with silverfish and specimen perch. To enhance this picturesque pool 100 tench (weighing up to 3lb) were stocked on 7th January.
The Committee are sure that these fish will provide some great sport for our members and provide a great alternative to the carp fishing on offer on the middle and top pools.
