About the venue
Hamer Warren is at Alderholt. The lake is stocked with rainbows and some browns are resident. The lake is about 5 acres in size and offers some excellent sport on two fish, three fish, five fish or sporting fish tickets for members. Guest tickets are also available and the Lake will also be open as a day ticket venue later in the year. Sporting tickets are take the first two fish, then catch and release thereafter. Evening catch and release tickets are also available during the summer months and are valid from 4.30pm. An evening at Hamer can sometimes bring spectacular results, as the evening rise is often prolific. All tickets are available at local tackle shops. There are two boats available at £2.50 per person. All brown trout must be returned unharmed.
