Holiday Membership

holiday membership 2

We are very excited to announce a new form of membership available to all anglers who may want to fish our waters.

What is it?

Holiday memberships run for 7 or 14 days and offer full access to our stunning portfolio of fisheries with the full access and ticket rights of full, annual members. It’s a way those who are in the area on holiday, visiting friends/family, on business or who only get the chance to fish for a few days each year can enjoy some of the best fishing available. Anyone can buy this form of membership no matter where you live or whatever your fishing experience.

Full Membership Benefits?

Absolutely. The only thing you don’t get is voting rights. You can buy daily guest tickets for friends, trout tickets at member’s rates and, if paying the adult rate, can even take along an Under 18 to fish with you free of charge (as long as you share a swim).

The Avon and Stour rank amongst the finest rivers in the country and are renowned for their vast chub, barbel, roach and pike. Each year many anglers travel from far and wide to fish them and are restricted to the few heavily fished, pressurised day ticket stretches available. For a daily rate equivalent to far less than these venues you can lose yourself in miles of lightly fished waters that frequently produce stunning specimens. We also have stillwaters offering carp over 46lb and tench into double figures along with a thriving game section that produces rainbow trout to 7lb 8oz, brownies to 8lb and winter grayling over 3lb.

How will it work?

The memberships run over consecutive days for the required length of time. They can be pre-booked so you know that you are ready to go as soon as you arrive in the area or get a week of free time. Simply call the office with your credit/debit card to hand and state the dates you would like (a 28 day notice period is in place during which you will be unable to change dates or cancel bookings). There is no minimum time period between purchase and commencement. A £20 deposit will also be taken for which a book and key will be sent to you – or you can choose to collect if from our office. You are then good to go and enjoy whichever of our venues takes your pick. Once your membership period expires, send your book and key back or drop it at our office and your deposit will be refunded.

If you really enjoy yourself and subsequently upgrade to full, annual membership within four weeks of the expiry date of your holiday membership, the cost of the holiday membership will be deducted from your subscription.

What’s the catch?

There isn’t one…unless it’s in your landing net!

We are really trying to keep this as simple as possible. It’s membership, just short term! Any questions can be directed to our office via phone (01202 480009) or email office@christchurchac.org.uk. Browse our website for venue details and latest news or find us on Facebook where many members send their latest catches.
