Hucklesbrook Lake
Coarse: Open all year subject to Rule 14
About the Venue
Hucklesbrook is a six acre gravel pit that holds a good head of carp with commons to 30lb+, mirrors to 20lb+ and some cracking crucians to be caught.
With its established banks and many features on the bottom, this lake is one the Club owns and, with this in mind, we have introduced a good head of pretty mirror carp and an additional top up of Wedgehill fish. The Mirrors were especially good looking fish with linears and fully scaled fish stocked.
Situated next to New Forest Water Park, this water has a maximum of two rods per angler permitted and fishing is from designated swims only. The point swims around the island are always a favourite, but the swims down the shallower far end are always worth a go.
As well as the variations of carp previously mentioned, the lake also contains some quality tench, roach, rudd and large eels.
Twelve night tickets are available each night with multiple nights available to the carp angler. These are available from Ringwood Tackle, Avon Angling and Bournemouth Fishing Lodge. There is plenty of parking space and toilet facilities available at the venue. Clear banks make this an easy venue for a trolley.
