Spinnaker Lake
Coarse: 16 June to 14 March
About the venue
This 65 acre gravel pit is the Club’s specimen water. With a lower stocking ratio for the water’s size, some of these fish have excelled to weights of over 40lb+.
These fish are in mint condition and have provided some terrific photo’s for members. The depths vary, but generally you will find fourteen feet in most swims. Established tree lined banks provide plenty of cover and with a twelve ticket per night limit, there is plenty of water to fish.
Members are allowed to use three rods on this water with the appropriate Environment Agency rod licences.
Night fishing is from allocated swims only and tickets must be purchased in advance from Avon Angling or Ringwood Tackle.
This water is shared with the sailing club with whom a good relationship has developed over recent years. We would ask members to bear in mind that the areas marked on the map as out of bounds mean just that.
