Stour White Mill
Fishing
Coarse: 16 June to 14 March×
About the venue
The easiest access to this fishery is near White Mill using the National Trust car park (note closure times) and walking over the bridge. Upstream, there are narrow weedy channels plus deep wide pools giving plenty of variety. Downstream, the shallow wide stretch immediately below the bridge quickly changes to deeper, slower water which can get heavily weeded in the Summer. The main fishing is for chub, dace and roach. A former record roach was taken just downstream at Corfe Mullen, so if a large roach is one of your ambitions, then you could do worse than give this fishery some serious attention.
