White Sheet is in Holt, which is close to Wimborne. The fishery consists of three lakes (spring fed by gravity overflow) set in 7 acres of stunning countryside. There is a meeting hut adjacent to the middle lake, which has electricity, a microwave and a kettle, which members are welcome to use (bring your own water though). This hut is convenient for shelter from the elements; a place to have your lunch; or to recount stories of the one that got away!
There have been plenty of rainbows over FIVE POUNDS caught in the past 12 months with a current best of 8 1/2 lbs. The lakes are regularly stocked with rainbows averaging around 2lb in size; and there are plenty of elusive brownies of various sizes, together with Blues ranging up to 6 pounds or more. Several “Brownies” of between 3 and 5 pounds have been caught recently, but a monster of perhaps 12 pounds is lurking (Beware – as this one has a taste for tackle, and tends to come off best).

Sporting / Catch and Release (C&R)
Fish caught on Halfway and Chestnut cannot be released, and of course – all brownies are to be released, and do not count against your quota.
The FIRST 2 rainbows (if from Lodge) may be killed and taken if wished, but all subsequent fish are to be released.
Please release them with care – unhooking in the water if possible. Always wet hands before handling fish.
You may fish ANY lake for the first 2 fish (if they are killed). Lodge Lake only for all ‘catch and release’.
Single, barbless, or micro/crushed barb hooks must be used for C&R, and for all fishing on Lodge Lake.
All three lakes may be fished on the standard two, three, four or five fish tickets.
